Abstract: The increasing incidence of chronic neuropathic, neurogenic and nociplastic pain, together with decreasing latency and the role of neuroinflammation in pain perception, all suggest that the modern diet and lifestyle is adding considerably to the overall burden of pain and the growing need for adequate pain management.
