Can geocaching be an indicator of cultural ecosystem services? The case of the montado savannah-like landscape

Geocachers did not show a priori preferences for different types of land useAfter the visit, their stated preferences exposed the appreciation of the montado cultural landscape over other forest landscapes; they also expressed preferences for open and aquatic landscapes Geocaching is a good indicator for cultural ecosystem services Montado landowners can diversify activities on their properties, decreasing their dependence of provisioning services 2
