Can Topological Transitions be Exploited to Engineer Intrinsically Quench-Resistant Wires?

Abstract: We investigate whether by synthesising superconductors that are tuned to a topological, node-reconstruction transition point we could create superconducting wires that are intrinsically resilient to quenches.
