Abstract:Background to the study: Invasive candidiasis is a critical healthcare-related fungal infection caused by several Candida species. Candida auris is an emerging multidrug-resistant, non-albicans species responsible for nosocomial infections, from skin colonization to invasive candidiasis outbreaks.
