“…The animals were brought from different countries such as France or even New Zeeland, which are not free of SRLVs infection [ 19 ]. By comparison, looking at a Polish herd where the prevalence has increased from 15% to 75%, after the importation of dairy goats from France during the 1990s [ 6 , 8 ], we can presume the importation of goats to Romania as one of the causes of the latter increase in CAE prevalence.
