Abstract:Conversion of potent greenhouse gases, hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), to value-added hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) is of great importance. AlF 3 catalysts play a major role in this process. Formation and maintenance under coordinated Al are the key to prepare efficient catalysts.
