Abstract:This chapter deals with two types of carbon-supported vanadium catalysts: vanadium (soluble) complexes anchored on different types of carbon supports and vanadium oxides supported on carbon materials. The first type of catalysts is still scarce in literature, consisting mainly on the heterogenisation of Schiff base complexes (with vanadyl acetylacetonate being the most common).
