Abstract:This study aims to investigate the outcomes of carbonaceous products, derived from the decomposition of the components of vehicular brake materials, under high-temperature wear tests. Pin-on-disc (PoD) wear tests were conducted by using cast iron discs against pins made of commercially available low-steel friction material.
