Cardiac Amyloidosis

Abstract: Cardiac amyloidosis is a protein-folding disorder mostly caused by abnormal deposition of either transthyretin proteins or light chain (AL) proteins, into one or more organs, including the heart. The main cardiac manifestations are right ventricular heart failure and arrhythmias.
