Cardiac and cardiovascular consequences after haematopoietic stem cell transplantation

Abstract: SummaryHaematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HCT) is the treatment of choice for defined malignant and non-malignant haematological disorders. The main drawbacks of HCT are early transplant-related mortality and late complications, which interfere with patient outcome, health status and quality of life.
