Abstract:BACKGROUND: Constitutive cardiac PDE2 activation was shown to protect against contractile dysfunction and arrhythmia in heart failure (HF). However, it remains unknown whether an acute elevation of PDE2 is efficient to prevent maladaptive remodeling and arrhythmia.
