Abstract:Acute fibrinous and organizing pneumonia (AFOP) is a lung disease with an unusual pathological pattern. The definitive diagnosis of AFOP relies on pathological evidence of intra-alveolar fibrin exudate, lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate, and the absence of a hyaline membrane.
