Abstract:Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer in the world. Other than adenocarcinomas, exceptional tumors of the colon and rectum represent a neglected clinical issue due to their rarity. Signet ring cell carcinoma (SRCC) is a rare subtype of CRC and has an extremely poor prognosis due to its advanced stage at diagnosis.
