Abstract:PLACK syndrome (OMIM 616295) is a rare genodermatosis associated with peeling skin, leukonychia, acral punctate keratosis, cheilitis, and knuckle pads and is caused by loss‐of‐function mutations in the CAST gene, which encodes calpastatin, a calcium‐dependent protease.
