Abstract: Tetranychus urticae is an important phytophagous and cosmopolitan pest, affecting several cultures worldwide, such as papaya, strawberry, cotton, beans and soybeans. Chemical pesticides for mite control pollute the environment, poison humans and select resistant mite populations.
