Abstract: Background: Traditional treatment of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) with therapeutic anticoagulation has been increasingly challenged by aggressive percutaneous treatment using ultrasound-accelerated catheter directed thrombolysis (US-CDT) or percutaneous pharmacomechanical thrombectomy (PMT).
