Abstract:The research deals with spinel compounds MgFeMnO<sub>4</sub>, which is known as a cathode material of magnesium battery. It exhibits a cationic disordering in cubic spinel structure and ferrimagnetism at room-temperature. The experimental data is acquired using a combination of magnetization, Mössbauer spectroscopy measurements, powder diffractions and muon spin rotation, relaxation and resonance (μ<sup>+</sup>SR) techniques. <br>
