CCBD: A Record of Accomplishment

Abstract: A personal history of the Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders (CCBD) is given, with special attention to CCBD's beginnings. The development of the organization is traced since its inception, with emphasis on origins; growth; and changes in membership representation, committees, publications, and awards. CCBD's history of political activism is recalled, including position papers and cooperative efforts with other groups.
