The electrical properties of Cadmium Selenium (CdSe) nanoparticles were measured by using I-V characteristic under illumination of light (AM 1.5, 100mWcm-2) at room temperature. The cadmium chloride (CdCI) as the Cd precursor and selenium (Se) powder as the Se precursor. In this research, the surface profiler was used to know the thickness of CdSe nanoparticles on the glass substrate. The thickness was used to know the energy band gap by using Tauc plot. The optical properties was measured by using Photoluminescence (PL) at room temperature. The energy band gap for 20 min ,30 min ,40 min and 50 min were 4.25 eV, 4.22 eV, 4.09 eV, and 4.21 eV.
