Cecal ameboma mimicking obstructing colonic carcinoma

Abstract: Ameboma is a mass of granulation tissue with peripheral fibrosis and a core of inflammation related to amebic chronic infection. The initial presentations of colonic ameboma usually include obstruction and low gastrointestinal bleeding.
