Abstract: Background: Mild eye signs, especially itchiness and grittiness of the eyelids and upper eyelid retraction (UER), are found in about 25% of patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT) in whom antibodies against calsequestrin and flavoprotein (Fp) are often detected.
