Cellular immune response to infection by different genotypes of hepatitis C virus

Abstract: The present study aimed to estimate the cellular immune response to infection by different HCV genotypes in some Egyptian patients with chronic liver disease. HCV-RNA and HCV genotypes were conducted using type-specific primers to amplify the core region of HCV genome. The levels of IFN-gamma and TNF-alpha, PIIINP, SOD enzyme were also determined. The results showed that genotype 4 was the prevalent one (88.57%).Genotype 3 was found mixed with genotype 2 and 4 (11.42% and 34.28% respectively). Genotype 1 was a… Show more

“…Vitamin D also plays a role In treatment of HIV by regulating immune system [8]. The signs and symptoms are: Draining viably, Bruising easily, Fatigue, Poor yearning, Yellow discoloration of the skin and eyes (jaundice), Dark-tinted pee, Fluid accumulation in the liver (ascites) etc [9]. A couple of individuals clear HCV from their bodies after the exceptional stage, an outcome known as unconstrained viral elbowroom.…”

“…The national prevalence rate of HCV antibody positivity has been estimated to be between 10-13% [2]. Hepatitis C affects nearly one in every 5 Egyptians which is highest prevalence all over the world .Most of Egyptian HCV patients are of gentype 4 where it represents 90% of all Egyptian HCV cases [3]. Genotype 4 is one of the neglected hepatitis C virus allover the world [4].…”
