“…Burkitt lymphoma (BL) is an aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma of germinal center B cells [1], first described as a jaw sarcoma in Ugandan children by Denis Burkitt in 1958 [2]. The pathology of BL was defined as a diffuse infiltration of medium-sized lymphoid cells, with pale staining macrophages giving a "starry-sky" appearance under the microscope [3,4].
