This provides further evidence that toxicity of intravitreal ICG is still a relevant issue. In conclusion, this report demonstrates that ICGA cannot be taken for a certain period after ICGassisted ILM peeling in an eye with RD secondary to posterior scleritis. The atypical ICGA findings suggest that caution should be used to prevent unnecessary ICG diffusion within the eye (e.g., mixing ICG with viscoelastics 2).
