“…Only bacterial infections were associated with aneurysm formation. All the viruses identified in our study have been previously described to cause intracranial large vessel stenotic lesions with circumferential wall enhancements, 4,[44][45][46][47][48] except for a 7-year-old child with Burkitt lymphoma, who had diffuse fusiform aneurysmal dilatation of intracranial vessels following Epstein-Barr virus encephalitis. 49 However, no previous article described intracranial arteriopathy following metapneumovirus infection, although meningoencephalitis has been described as a central nervous system manifestation.…”

“…Wirus opryszczki zwykłej (herpes simplex virus, HSV) zajmuje przede wszystkim przyśrodkowe płaty skroniowe, wyspę, dolne płaty czołowe i zakręt obręczy -co jest widoczne w sekwencji T2 jako obustronne zmiany hiperintensywne (Sureka i Jakkani, 2012). W literaturze opisano przypadki zakażeń enterowirusem, w których w MRI wykazano zmiany ogniskowe i zapalenie naczyń (Cauwenberghs et al, 2018). Ogólnoustrojowe zapalenie aktywuje układ krzepnięcia i zwiększa ryzyko choroby zakrzepowo-zatorowej (Fullerton et al, 2015).…”
