Abstract:This study reports four outbreaks of Cestrum axillare poisoning in cattle. Outbreaks occurred in farms of the Distrito Federal, Goiás, and Minas Gerais states during the dry season, affecting cows and heifers, with a mortality rate of 1 to 14,28%. Poisoned animals showed neurological signs and recumbency, followed by death within 12 hours, and some animals were found dead.
