Abstract:Background
Acute febrile diseases transmitted by mosquitos are a diagnostic challenge for pediatricians working Sub-Sahara-Africa. Misclassification due to the lack of rapid, reliable diagnostic tests leads to the overuse of antibiotics and antimalarials.
