Challenges Experienced by Caregivers Caring for Abandoned Infants and Toddlers in Institutional Care

Abstract: Childhood trauma continues to be a silent epidemic in South Africa. Institutional childcare centres do not have sufficient funding or resources to render daily therapeutic services for abandoned children.
