Challenges in Counseling Immigrant Clients: Understanding Intercultural Barriers to Career Adjustment

Abstract: The current article discusses cross‐cultural barriers encountered by immigrant clients. Adjustment issues in the following areas are discussed: psychological effects of moving to a new culture, communication, and employment.
