Challenges to academic-practitioner knowledge exchange on illegal wildlife trade

Abstract: Illegal wildlife trade (IWT) can have significant and deleterious impacts. Academic-practitioner knowledge exchange can improve the effectiveness of strategies to counter IWT; however, cases of inadequate knowledge exchange have been reported.
