Abstract:Down syndrome (DS) is a developmental disability caused by trisomy of chromosome 21 and as with other developmental disabilities, individuals with DS may present with challenging behavior (e.g., aggression, tantrums, self-injurious behavior; Feeley & Jones, 2006).
