Abstract:The most common treatment of maxillofacial fracture in older patients are observation, followed by open reduction and internal fixation. 1 These results might be explained by the dislike for aggressive treatment by the elderly patients because they were not unduly concerned about a slight facial deformity unless the function was seriously impaired. In this case, we did not perform aggressive treatment for maxillary sinus fracture repair.
