“…The H3PO4-hardened molassesbonded brick is preferred when 2.5% of borax was not used (Benk and Coban, 2012). 39.6% pumice was found to be effective and increased the porosity of fired bricks while the density lowered to 1.58 g/cm 3 at 900°C and increased to 1.61 g/cm 3 at 1000 o C respectively (Gencel, 2015).
