Characterization for EIS of a Modified Graphite Electrode in a Hexane/CTAB- (CTA)4[Fe(CN)6]-Butanol/Water Microemultion

Abstract: The present work show the results of the characterization of the hexane/CTAB-(CTA)4[Fe(CN)6]-butanol/water system by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). This system has the singularity to form an adsorbed surfactant layer on the graphite surface that modifies the electrode properties. The modified electrode has been applied in Fe(CN)6-3 standard solution.
