Characterization of high temperature mechanical properties using laser ultrasound

Abstract: Abstract. Laser ultrasound is employed to assess high temperature mechanical properties. A pulsed laser is used for broadband ultrasound generation, and a laser interferometer is used to detect ultrasonic vibrations.
