Characterization of Microstructure and Thermal property of Ash Deposits on Fire-side Boiler Tube

Abstract: Ash deposition of heat exchange boiler, caused mainly by accumulation of particulate matter, reduces heat transfer of the boiler system. Heat and mass transfer through porous media such as ash deposits mainly depend on the microstructure of deposited ash.
