Abstract:In this study, synthesis of tin oxide by anodic oxidation of tin foils at room temperature in oxalic acid has been investigated. The prepared structure was characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). FESEM results showed that the anodization process leads to formation of nanoporous, cuboid and granular structures. EDS analysis in all tested samples showed the constituents of tin and oxygen.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
