Characterization of nonlinearity using polynomial transfer function of all‐optical sampling

Abstract: A novel method for full characterizing nonlinear distortion of all‐optical sampling is proposed based on polynomial transfer function.The method only requires fitting transfer curve with a polynomial function and enables a uniform expression of nonlinear distortion in terms of polynomial coefficients and input parameters.
