Characterization of Sampling-While-Drilling Operations

Abstract: The while-drilling environment poses several potential challenges to acquiring representative formation-fluid samples; in particular, sampling times are expected to be restricted (perhaps severely) and dynamic filtration conditions are expected to predominate.
