Charged scalar field propagator under an external magnetic field: a connection between eigenfunction and proper time methods

Abstract:We present a comparison between the bosonic Feynman propagator in an external magnetic field calculated by Ritus' method with summation over Landau levels and its integral expression obtained via Schwinger's proper time method. Also, we have investigated the behavior boson system in a thermal reservoir under an increase in the external magnetic field strength.
