Chemical Characterization and Immunomodulatory Activity of Fucoidan from Sargassum hemiphyllum

Abstract: Fucoidan is a sulfated algal polyanionic polysaccharide that possesses many biological activities. In this paper, a fucoidan (SHF) polysaccharide was extracted from Sargassum hemiphyllum collected in the South China Sea.
