“…e chemical compounds of E.PG and I.PG have been identified by UPLC in reverse phase using a Waters ACQUITY SDS UPLC system with a Column type: ACQUITY UPLC ® BEH C18 1.7 μm, as followed in the method of Kachkoul et al [45]. In this respect, the separation is carried out in gradient mode using acetonitrile (CH 3 CN) and formic acid (100 : 0.1 v : v) according to the following steps: (1) initial mobile phase including 10% of CH 3 CN, (2) linear increase from 10% to 25% of CH 3 CN (0-18 min), (3) 25% of CH 3 CN (18-21 min), (4) from 25% to 50% of CH 3 CN (21-28 min), (5) from 50% to 100% of CH 3 CN (28-29 min), and (6) 100% of CH 3 CN (29-30 min); then the percentage of CH 3 CN has been reduced to 10% (30-37 min), which allowed a stabilization time of 7 min before injection of the next sample.…”

“…3 m in height and in the winter blooms with pinkish-white flowers. The fleshy fruit is often consumed as a jam or used in the manufacture of digestive and/or laxative liqueurs [2][3][4][5]. Recent reports point to a role of A. unedo extracts in treating type-2 diabetes, by inhibiting α-amylase activity.…”
