Chemical profiling of Portuguese Pinus pinea L. nuts

Abstract: Mineral composition seemed to be most prone to variation, suggesting its potentially useful role in discriminating Mediterranean pine nuts. A significant variability was found in the nut composition of Portuguese P. pinea populations.
