Abstract: Various primary and secondary alcohols (I) and (III) are oxidized to the corresponding aldehydes (II) and ketones (IV), resp., using silica supported TEMPO as a heterogeneous catalyst and nitrosonium tetrafluoroborate as a co‐catalyst.
