ChemInform Abstract: A New Route from D‐Mannitol to Enantiomerically Pure (S)‐1‐Alkylamino‐3‐aryloxy‐2‐propanols.

Abstract: To demonstrate a general procedure for the synthesis of the title compounds, (S)-(XII) is prepared from the known D-mannitol derivative (I), with (V) as the aryloxy and (XI) as the amino component.
