Abstract

A One-Pot Synthesis of Azolo-Annulated Derivatives of Pyrido(2,3-d) pyrimidine.-The pyrazolopyrimidines (I) react with malononitrile (II) or ethyl cyanoacetate (VI) to give the pyrazolopyridopyrimidines (III) or (VIIa) .
