Abstract

Imidazole derivatives R 0190A Simple Synthesis of New 2-Thioxoimidazolidine-4,5-dicarboxylates from Vicinal Diisothiocyanatocarboxylates. -The reaction of novel vicinal diisothiocyanatocarboxylates with amines results in the synthesis of 2-thioxoimidazolidine-4,5-dicarboxylates. Transformation of product (IIIb) to a bicyclic derivative (V) is also detailed.
