Abstract: Das aus der Grignard‐Verbindung (I) und dem Cyclohexanon (II) dargestellte Keton (III) (28% Ausbeute) wird durch Leuckart‐Reaktion in das Amid (IV) (45%) übergeführt, das bei Behandlung mit Phosphorpentoxid zu dem Benzophenanthridin (V) (53%) cyclisiert.
