Abstract

Development and Applications of Remote Stereocontrol Using Allylic Organobismuth Reagents. -The investigations reveal that BiI 3 -mediated couplings of bromides (I) and (VI) as well as stannane (IV) with achiral aldehydes (II) proceed with useful levels of (E)-1,5-stereocontrol.
