Abstract

Media. -In most cases, the coupling proceeds with success to produce the biaryl structures with good to excellent yields. In the case of 2,2'-disubstitution, no coupling takes place for the fluorinated substrates (VII), whereas a moderate yield is possible for the dimethyl analogue (IX) in a THF/water mixture. -(SANTOS-FILHO, E.
